Yes to the first. There's almost no overlap between what I read at Yuletide and what I read the rest of the year. For Yuletide I am all about reading the very small fandoms, especially book fandoms.

(I know people are sad sometimes that people don't read their rare fandom outside Yuletide, but for me reading outside my usual takes a very particular mindset.)
