Actually, what the OP did was paraphrase people's letters in a way that made it seem like they were homophobic, when all the letters I've seen so far just say some variant on "no Peter/Nightingale, please." I've yet to see one that actually says "no homo." (If it's out there, link.) Expressing frustration would be saying, man, I wish more people were looking for my ship, I really wanted to write it--ie not what the OP actually said.
