+1 I ship Curt/Arthur too and all the Brian/Curt fics make me wonder if the people watched the same movie because that relationship is definitely not the fluffy thing I saw in fic, but both Curt and Arthur are just as imperfect as Brian, only in different ways. I think Brian did lose touch with reality for a bit (understandably so, fame can do that to people), Curt has his addiction problems etc. and Arthur has hang-ups about hero worship and his homosexuality. I totally want Curt and Arthur to have their happy end together, but it's gonna take some work on both their parts to make that happen.

I feel ya. I've always really liked Brian (*cough*because he's David Bowie*cough*) and I don't think the fandom has a very sympathetic view of him because he's such a reserved and private character who doesn't reveal his true feelings much (unlike Curt, who's spilling everything everywhere, and Arthur, who is open and unpretentious). Like Bowie, he comes across as cold if you don't know what to look for. But those tears he cries when recording his song are clearly genuine.

I brainstormed a little on my assignment, then ditched that in favor of canon reviewing for a treat, starting writing that treat, then second-guessing my characterization and doing canon review for the unnominated sequel. Still not sure what I should do re: characterization.

I want to write noncon for any of my RPGs, but I can't find any letters where it's approved. Can you hint at your RPG please?

I hate it too. Whatever your shoes may be made off, if they're too tight and you keep wearing them, that's likely to cause damage to your feet. This is a serious matter!
