Were they the ones that were nommed under Project Runway RPF? I haven't watched the new season yet but I may have to so I can treat.

I've seen someone make a CYOA fic within AO3 chapters before, by just having at the bottom of each chapter "for [option] go to chapter 35, for [other option] go to chapter 8" etc. It was fantastically well done.

As for hosting off-site, I'm pretty sure Morbane was talking about this in the discord in the last few days. She said off-site hosting was fine, so long as you let the mods know beforehand so they can check the wordcount and have the wordcount posted somewhere within your AO3 story.

Definitely change the names in those circumstances. I'm in favor of using a more historically accurate version of the name when possible, or at least the same first initial to make it more obvious who's who.

Coalies, I haven't written letter, everything I wanted to say is in my sign up, including the porn prompts. Would it be weird to go to the yuleporn plot and simply state "I like major trope in fandom x,y and z, please check me out in the sign up summary once it's revealed".

Is there a way to opt out of or unsubscribe from "Please support the archive!" emails?

My recip wants OT3 (or pairings in any combination of the three) for an ensemble canon and has prompted for nothing else. They did not have their letter up or I would have dropped a character to avoid this.

I can write a convincing story for one of the possible pairings, but the third character I anti-ship. Coal, what are some ideas for including all characters - who I love individually - without sounding like the kind of asshole who is judgey about their ship?

Would Breq/Seivarden qualify as femslash, though? I mean, everyone is she because the Radchai language and entire way of thinking is gender neutral, but I'm pretty sure I remember Seivarden as being identified as a biological male by people from other, not-gender neutral cultures.

How would slash/femslash even work in the Radchai society?

I know this is tricky without naming the canon, but what kind of dynamic is it? (And what are you comfortable writing with the third character? Why are they anti-ship material for you?)

If the third character has a platonic relationship with the other characters, you could write gen scenes about those while doing shippy things with the other two. As long as you aren't character-bashing or hitting the "THIS IS ONLY PLATONIC AND THEY LOVE EACH OTHER LIKE SIBLINGS" button too hard, that might be sufficient? Especially since you said the recip is okay with "any combination of the three."

Write the pairing you like, default to canon-like interactions for the third.

When you've finished writing, review for any times you've accidentally included "Why no, A, I'd rather cut my feet off with a roomba than sleep with you" lines, and delete them.

Maybe not, but it's not about that. If you don't comment because you're feeling guilty, you're making it worse - you're punishing your writer for your problem.

They don't care about whether you defaulted. They only care about whether you read and liked the story.
