Have you read Charlotte Bronte's Villette? Lucy/Ginevra isn't canon, but it is what people often request for the fandom. It's a teacher/student ship, and the student is a popular, spoilt rich girl while the teacher is sort of the opposite of that. They are not enemies, but Lucy would not call them friends (while Ginevra would insist they are BFFs).
