They want fandom to be a safe place but they're turning Yuletide into a "holiday" thing and othering participants who have religions (or no religion) where nothing of importance happens in December so this is just a end of the year exchange for them.

Omg noncon!!!!!! But who cares about making people who don't care about Christian "holiday" shit feel uncomfortable. They don't need to feel welcome even in an exchange invented for people who don't have any reason to care about the 25th otherwise, I guess. Don't ask for any fic that you'd like, only the ones that are suitably made for "holiday" reading.

Noncon can be avoided by anyone who didn't request it but that persons attitude affects every single participant.
