The fandom was clearly nominated by the person who wanted A/B because only A and B are in the tagset. They posted their letter pretty early.

The other two requests, both of which had unlisted letters that there was no reason they couldn't have linked, only request A and ask for A/C.

People!!! Why do you do this? Nominate C yourself or maybe skip the fandom this time if the tagset didn't work out your way? Anyone who wanted to write for the letter would have risked matching to them smh. I feel bad for people who assumed everyone in the fandom wanted A/B this year and offered it in good faith only to match to...that.

This is one of those things I've learned over the years: if there are only two characters in the tag set and unposted letters, offer both characters NOT ANY because otherwise you will match to one of those other requests who have definitely requested A/unnominated C instead of A/B that you thought you were offering.

You have to offer at least two characters, or any.

Offering A and B can match you to the person who only asked for A and used their optional details to DNW A/B and prompt for A/C.

There's no way to escape these requests.

If you offer both characters, you can still match to someone requesting one (and unnominated other).

I'm not looking to bring wank to the people who skimmed the rules, I just want to vent lol. A/B is a canon m/m ship and A/C is canon m/f and that's as specific as I'm willing to get.
