It's a relaxing fandom to write in and got me a few comments last yuletide. On the less positive side, I've written for my recipient before and she only commented some time after author reveals.

There are canons that I'm overflowing with plotbunnies for. And then there are a couple canons where I really, really need something to go off of for what my recip wants. The request for a canon in the latter category did not have something to go off of.

Ok, I'm done a little early, so screening is off.

I'd like to address a couple things.

1: In my many years of participating in and modding anon communities, I've only rarely seen situations where wanking about the deletion of -ist content doesn't turn into just more -ist content. That's why I froze and deleted the "wah quit being mean to transphobes" stuff.

2: Maybe I should have froze the wank instead of deleting. Honestly, my concern was prolonging captcha's appearance, but I can see that backfired. I'll try freezing instead, in the future.

Anyway, use this post or the new one; I don't care which. I'll still be checking this one to remove garbage (like the 100-some-comment thread wanking about trans people that instigated this whole mess).

What is everyone's method for sorting through the 300+ pages of requests? Do you sort by requester and look at every single page, or by fandom, etc...?

I c&p fandoms I know from the sign-up summary (because that's easier to sort through/browse) into a textdoc/spreadsheet. Then I'll search for them on the app/spreadsheet and see if the requests are for the characters I like. If I do, I click the letter and read it. If it's good, I bookmark it.

I'm having problems with it too. Letters will only show up if you click PROMPTS, but that's only the ones who wrote something in the optional details field. If they didn't then it doesn't show up at all.

This fandom has a specific DNW -- Pennywise as a character. I'm fine with references to him and implications of his presence, as long as he doesn't show up on the page.

I'd love to see some creepy slice-of-life, or psychological horror with their amnesia and how Derry and Pennywise keep fucking with them.

Eh. It doesn't seem that unworkable? I haven't read the book in ages, and maybe it's different in the movie, but I think there's a lot of "Pennywise fucks with them" moments in canon that don't have Pennywise appear on page. I assume they just want, like, blood to start dripping out of the faucets and creepy old pictures to start moving and black balloons to follow them around.
