No, they requested every nominated character (over 20) without any hints regarding preferred pairings, and a line like "I like this canon" which isn't helpful at all. I just don't know what to do with it. I know I can write 300 words of something but there's no excitement or motivation and it's bumming me out :(

This would be the ideal assignment for some people because there's so much free reign, but apparently I need prompts D:

Maybe try checking out the community challenge spreadsheet? I found it overwhelming at first, but there's a ton of great one-off nominated tags in there that might inspire you. Also, posting a fic with those tags would be working towards the community challenge, if you find that motivating.

I'd go for original flavor, just-like-canon fic. Maybe a missing scene? 300 words are too little for casefic but, a scene in the style of canon, or an omake-style passage?
