OK with spoilers from the movie if necessary for the story

Although I have not watched the movie, I am what one may call a "Board Game Geek".

Writer can view my board game related activities at Board Game Geek's website (https://boardgamegeek.com/user/lmizutani/). Had played Pathfinder but not Dungeons and Dragons. Can have them play Deception, Murder in Hong Kong (they can look up the game at the Board Game Geek website) or Mysterium as I am familiar with both games and believe (from the movie's IMDB page) if they do not want to do spoilers they can bounce off these games instead using the movie's characters.

I'm realizing that releasing all the requests so soon after assignments go out makes me feel like I dodge bullets like motherfucking Neo.

I am a board game geek who doesn’t watch movies. I would have happily offered to write fic for most of the board games on their profile. But if they want that, they need to nominate some games! Not a movie I’ve never heard of.

i feel like the mods should address this and give the person a free default, or a new assignation because this is just unfair...the person hasn't even watched the movie

you have way too much hope in the mods. all they would tell their author to do is write whatever they want to write whatever they want about the film because odao. at most they would do is e-mail the recip and tell them it’s unfair to give the optional details they did

Characters from a movie they've never seen that actually doesn't really have all that much to do with board games playing requester's favorite board games?

Because the only thing more exciting than watching people play board games is reading about characters you know nothing about playing board games.

...Before this prompt I didn't know it was possible to fuck up a prompt so badly.

At least now we can keep an eye out for them and watch for potential wank if they comment that the fic sucked or something? They've never been in an exchange before though so there's that, there's no way to predict how else they can fuck up in yuletide.
