After terrible "my writing sucks my recipient will hate it I'm writing coal and I'm unable to write their preferred type of fic", I've managed to write a very rough plot outline. I keep getting terrified how long this is likely to get - no way it's under 8k, it'll probably end in the 10k range.

So far I have 2'700 words but I'll probably end up cutting most of them (see: not my recipient's preferred type of fic).

I'm hoping to get a first draft reasonably early so I can hunt down for a beta who'll help me structure/focus/rewrite the thing in a direction more like the sort of writing recip enjoys.
