Anyone up for some barefist bearfighting with me? Word sprints, mini challenges of some sort, idk?

My goal was/is to get a word-splurge of all the snippets that are in my head onto the screen so that I can play around filling in gaps and reordering it all in between now and Saturday. I've been rumbling steadily on in between looking up things on Google maps and product websites, and I've done about 1700 words tonight so far. I'm going to carry on for a bit yet, since I'm a night owl and I don't have to get up early this week (joy!).
I have a cat next to me offering no encouragement whatsoever, but coffee and chocolate are plentiful, so bear slaying conditions are reasonable XD
How is it going for you?

I am going to spend half an hour making overarching notes on a fic I accepted for beta, and then I am going to try to write the next scene in this story. I've written 1.5 scenes so far and getting between scene 2 and 3 is causing me trouble. I keep writing dialogue and deleting it.
Save some chocolate to leave at the bottom of a bear pit!
