Yeah, I had major issues writing my letter. I didn't want to come off as demanding in terms of plot and word count, but every prompt I came up with seemed to require more than 300 words... I did the best I could, tried to strike a decent balance, so hopefully it turned out okay.

As for writing, I know there's no way I'll be able to write a fic that's just 300 words -- I'll be satisfied if I can keep it around 3000, heh. Part of the reason I signed up for this is to try and get myself to write shorter stuff for once, so we'll see how that goes!

Yeah, my personal goal is going to be 1000 words anyway, because I'm weird and I don't want shorter fic on my AO3 page. I'm probably going to be writing one big-ish fic for my assignment (I'm excited that we're probably getting these soon, btw!) and hopefully find it in me to write a couple of treats.

I feel the same about having a 1000 word minimum on my Ao3.

It's not really a fic unless it's 1K words. I can't post it on it's own. There are shorter things on my account from when I first started writing and I seriously consider deleting them every now and then.
