That's real funny, considering that I've mentioned it here before. I explained why I didn't want to go into details, and of course some people immediately felt the need to say I was lying (just like they did now). It's quite possible for people to have a different experience than your own, since you apparently never realized that.

People have no reason to believe you if you don't give your reason. For all we know, you were the one in the wrong and the mod was justified in whatever they did.

Exactly. And it's not like we here at coal have any trouble with the idea of asshole mods. We live for that stuff! But it's really easy to be the innocent party when all you say is 'X is an asshole, I know because reasons I can't possibly reveal'.

This is why I kind of don't like exchange mods using an exchange sock. Does anyone know who 'cest_moi_mod' is? They COULD be an asshole or a major wanker, and we ~might never know~.

The way I feel about it is that as long as they aren't wanky as the mod, who cares. They don't have the rep of their main identity repaired by the goodness they do as a mod either.

Never say positive things about the mod team! Most exchanges are collab projects by anons on ffa anyway so the mod can't claim Amazingness by having "invented" an exchange. Hell I'm the anon who came up with the name Inshipping. Participating in an exchange where the mod is a dick != cosigning that mod's actions or supporting them.

If it ever comes out as an anon mod is actually a douchbag wanker then you have complete deniability. You never praised the mod! You can stop doing the exchange and have absolutely no guilt about participating it in the past since you were "being lied to". Until then you don't need to worry over holding a grudge when you don't need to ;)

This is a good plan! I will keep my 'I WAS LIED TO HDU' outrage in reserve for just such a time.
