SA Mostly I'm in the same boat you are - I want someone who's not *me* to write the fics.

(I wouldn't say no to Anne IN SPACE either, but it would have to be the RIGHT KIND of "IN SPACE")

Nonny who cannot write Montgomery fic here.

I would make a genuine and good-faith effort to write Anne in space for you, nonny. That is very tempting. Sadly, the place to which my brain goes is actually Marilla in space.

Susan Baker in space.

Oh my God, Miss Cornelia in space.

(...There is perhaps something to be said here about why Montgomery was able to write strong, badass female characters if she introduced them when they were unmarried and/or past childbearing age, but tended to default to Spunky Girlyness Matures Into Mom Brain And Stops Right There when writing characters who started out as tweens and we watched them grow up.)
