And Deltora Quest. My childhood. I'd love fanfiction of that fandom.

I loved Rowan of Rin too, but DQ was like... family pasttime wherein I bought the books and made my younger sibs read it too, whereas I can't remember most of the RoR names.

Calls for a reread, methinks, since I used to love it so much I could recite the prophetic rhymes.

Yeah, I need to reread both of them. It was the opposite for me- I fell in love with RoR first and then discovered DQ. I still love the first series, though. Not so keen on the second or third.

ngl, DQ in its entirety is something I find it hard to be objective about. Will agree that series 1 is the best, though.

I remember being so dismayed to find RoR only had, what, 5 or 6 books in response. It could have gone on for ages! More adventures with crystals!

Been so long since I read Deltora Quest.
