I'm always surprised (and kind of sad) when I see Musketeers noms without one of the three (in this case Porthos and Athos are in; Aramis is missing). Like, they're called the Inseperables, it feels wrong to separate them to me! (also it's my ot3, so there's that).

There are a bunch of Musketeers nominations this year. The 2014 one looks to me like it was nominated by one person and they wanted Constance in there. If I'd nominated it, I'd probably have been thinking: "Which of the main 4 will everyone be willing to write even if they're not nominated?" If you like both d'Artagnan and anybody else, you have to leave one of the three out, and I too would have chosen Santiago Cabrera, darling of all nerds, as the one least likely to be a controversial addition to optional details.

tl;dr - 2014 Constance was super awesome. That's probably why one of the guys was left out.

I didn't realize 2014 was nom'd! Now I'm rethinking what I was going to offer for by replacing Les Trois Mousquetaires with BBC Musketeers.
