(Anonymous) 2014-10-08 08:35 pm (UTC)(link)I'd have no problems avoiding rape, no matter what the canon, and I'd never be frustrated by a no rape request. If someone requested the Saw series, for example, and wanted dark themes but no violence that might be a bit difficult to work around. Plenty of canons lend themselves well to non-violent darkfic though (angst, psychological horror, existential terror, etc).
