Pollute the Air
Did your favorite fandom get rejected because it was one fic over the limit?
Have you just fallen in love with a new fandom the day after nominations ended?
Or are you morbane?

In the last post the idea came up to create a community where you can post your most shameful yuletide requests anonymously. Check out

Re: Best v Worst
(Anonymous) 2014-10-15 11:35 pm (UTC)(link)Worst received: Eh, I don't think I've gotten any really bad stories. Last year's was kind of a disappointment just because it was mediocre and I wasn't as enthusiastic about the canon by Christmas as I was when I signed up, but I wouldn't call it coal.
Best written: Most of them, I guess, at least in the sense they were all well-received by the recipients and usually at least one other person. (Though actually writing them could be like pulling teeth, lol.) My favorite to write was probably the one where I got to sneak in some of my learnings from my field of graduate study, or some of the treats I wrote.
Worst written: My absolute least favorite to write was one where I matched on a fandom where they wanted something totally different from what I'd been hoping to write, and I hadn't thought to change my offers in time. I actually went back to read it earlier and it's not all that awful, though definitely not my best. ... I'm just really vain and love my own writing, I guess. Oops.
