As one of the people on the treaters list, I really try to make my treats as good as I possibly. I'm not writing for some award or whatever, I'm writing to give these people a gift and by golly it's going to be the best damn gift I can give them.

I'm on the list, too, and I feel the same way. I write the treat if I know I can do a good job, and work just as hard on them as my assignment.

Me three, and treating for me is about the joy of finding an ~inspirational~ prompt, or delving into fandom I wasn't confident enough to offer. At most I hope to make myself proud and my recips happy.
