Can anyone explain to me why Anthropomorfic is different to Original Works (or Fanworks)? It seems to me that you can sneak all kinds of original works/personal wank fic into Yuletide by using the Anthropomorfic category.

It just does not fit and I cannot understand why it's there.

It might come from the same impulse, but it's older than original works or fanworks in exchanges.

I guess you could 'sneak in' original works or personal wank but why bother?

If it makes people happy it doesn't cause much bother.

I would argue that fairy tales are even closer to original works than anthropomorfics.
