Dude, let's just self police like we used to. Before that other mod went mad with power the post was chugging along calmly and on topic, only after the deletions and freezongs started did it implode. Other than outright spamming coal should be very handsoff, and if someone's being transphobic or homophobic we can just shun them.

Is there any talk in the Discord channel or elsewhere about when the text file with all the requests will be released? It's normally right there from the start, so I'm not sure if there's a problem with it this year or what.

all i want from this is some kind of exploration of Mulan's gender identity. i don't have any hard and fast headcanons for you to ruin, i just want a fic that acknowledges that a) Mulan isn't cis and b) Shang is sooo gay for her and c) they are very very queer and happy together. can be modern au or canon compliant or whatever, i don't really care, you choose.

Eh. It doesn't seem that unworkable? I haven't read the book in ages, and maybe it's different in the movie, but I think there's a lot of "Pennywise fucks with them" moments in canon that don't have Pennywise appear on page. I assume they just want, like, blood to start dripping out of the faucets and creepy old pictures to start moving and black balloons to follow them around.

Oh, it's the tiny fandom I love... and the only prompt is for crossovers with megafandoms I'm not into.

Fic of my dreams. I find it really easy to come up with prompts, so all I really want from a letter is their DNWs and some direction to guide me in. But I'll happily write a blank sign up, something that's just about how much they love the fandom, or a very, very long letter.

I mean, it's not necessarily unworkable, but it is pretty vague and contradictory considering this is a hard DNW for them. If there was a bit more explanation, I would probably treat them, but as it is, I'm unsure enough about where the line is that I'm gonna pass.

Spoiled for choice between a) prompt I've seen before and still don't think I could address to my satisfaction and b) prompt I could easily write because I have before, but the requester hasn't kudosed or commented on those fics so they probably aren't into my take on the characters.

hakuen's incredible misuse of Any for Escaflowne is a bullet I'm very glad to have dodged.
