The majority of the Venom requests are bad. I don't think it'll get a lot of fic for Yuletide this year and would expect it to be the MFMM of defaults like we had a couple years back. Maybe some ODAO types will use it as a chance to write a popular for Yuletide story but I don't know why they would wait for December to post instead of getting their stuff out there now.

Not because I want to write Venom/Eddie noncon but because Venom/Eddie consent issuefic seems about the least interesting way to go about writing this xeno porn. This person also DNWs possessiveness which is a big part of the appeal for me.

Definitely a bullet dodged - I would have immediately un-offered Venom if I'd noticed that hobbitdragon had signed up and requested it. As it is, I blundered blindly into a perfectly nice match.

I'm going to try to treat a few of the good requests/letters, but man...the requests unveiling was not the treasure trove I was hoping for.

The ones with letters posted before assignments went out are mostly good, and theres a quiet gem hiding here or there in he new ones. It's just that most of the new ones are...not good.
