It wouldn't be, if it were actually a prompt. That request says they don't have a strict headcanon and then proceed to talk about their headcanon as if it's canon. And the "prompt" is just ~talk about Mulan and Shang's sooper queer relationship, like that's a good prompt.

This. The problem is that it's a demand that the writer "acknowledge[] that Mulan isn't cis," as though this were firmly established in canon and the rest of the world were in denial about it.
