I moved about 100 old RPF fics to a new account a couple Yuletides ago, because I was no longer writing for that fandom and they overwhelmed my main account (plus I didn't want my author to think the fic of my heart would be a crossover with my old fandom).

It turned out good that I did, because a newspaper just found the fandom. The only thing I feel guilty about is my "old fandom" friends feeling like I dissed them. It wasn't that, guys, honest! I still adore you.

And it looks like her Yuletide 2013 gift was a WIP. I'd be pissy with the author too if that had happened to me.

1. They use any and all their prompts revolve around characters who weren't nominated. Even people who offer any only sign up to write nominated characters.

2. They use any when they clearly have a preference. Ex: the tag set includes Bob, Jake, Susan, Jane, Ralph, Mary, and Steve. Person requests any, says "I'd love Bob/Mary or Jake/Steve, but solo Susan fic is fine too". Someone who only offered Jane and Ralph could still match with them due to the Any request.

Imma go against the grain here and say receive. Writing the perfect Yuletide fanfic sounds stressful. I'd rather just do my best and receive something something really nice.
