They do a lot of legal stuff too, submission and research etc. They've negotiated DCMA exceptions and the suchlike, a fair use thing fanvids, as well as campaigning against SOPA etc. Possibly also defend against takedown orders?

Yeah, I'm alsoreally disappointed by the True Detective requests so far. Not what I wanted to write at all, tsk.

On the other hand there's seven requests in total, and only two letters so far. Hopefully more will pop up soon!

I feel the same way about Maleficent! I threw it into my offers just in case I wasn't very matchable, but there are several requests I can match now, so I've taken it out again. Ah well. There are lots of other people offering it.
