Doesn't that one match just on fandom and not even on characters or specific poly arrangements? I remember looking at it last year and thinking, "Yeah, no", but I can't remember why. I think that might have been it?

That was 3ships that matched just on fandom. Holly_Poly matches on fandoms and relationships both.

I'm confused as to why the mod doesn't run it matching through ao3. Most people are familiar with dozens of canons. You can't just have people throw out offers willy-nilly without know what's wanted.

It's pretty clear that they're running it in a rushed manner this year; probably didn't expect people to say yes when asked if they wanted another round.

I want to know too. Yuletide has bitten my exchange bug and now I just want to write fics quid-pro-quo.

bandom_exchange is also happening, but that's for a very selected/specific subject of music groups. (Not sure why people can't nom their own, but I'm not very familiar with their band/oms.)

I don't know what other multi-fandom exchanges there are with sign-ups happening now/soon.

Trick or Treat stories posted, although editing is still required.

It was a trial run for Yuletide, my sock apparently wasn't as excited about the fandom as they'd thought. That fandom won't be offered for Yuletide.

My main was fairly comfortable with their assignment, although of course we still have to deal with the whole "Don't write it the day before deadline" deal.

I also find I don't have the patience to actually write stories. I really have to look into my work laptops speech recognition so I can tell the stories to it and do something else while I'm at it.

Posted my Trick or Treat gifts a few days ago, but still no gift for me. I'm trying not to let it get me down because it could be someone waiting on a beta or writing something so nice that they needed all this time, but I can't help but worry that I got one of those needs-extreme-deadline-pressure writers that hasn't even started my story yet.

My assignment's been done for ages, I just haven't uploaded it yet because ALL MY IDEAS FOR TITLES SUCK.
