Don't punish yourself by defaulting and risking getting nothing in return if your writer also defaults. Write coal instead then switch accounts before reveals.

This is what I did last year. I mean, I wrote the best story I could, but I know it's not what she wanted, so I switched assignments with a sock before reveals. I got two great stories, though, so it worked out fine.

LOL! There's no point in defaulting on a mod anyway. If anyone has to grit their teeth and graciously accept ODAO it's the people enforcing it.
