How many people are getting sucked into fandoms via prompts?

I'm stuck playing this damn side scrolling game I'd never even heard of before. I can't say I care enough to write fic for it, but I can't get the songs out of my at all. UGH earworms.

It's fun how even after you've played the game a lot you can still run into new ways to die. The last time I played I booked it to become a lumen ASAP because usually my Elodies either never get their crystals or get them way too late to really make any use of them since I'm usually focusing on other things and I wanted to do a magical powerhouse run for once, and I got killed by an assassin I'd never triggered before.

My reaction was a teacherly 'Don't think I don't know who did that! Stepping up your plans because you found out Elodie already has her crystal, are you?'

The last time I tried to do a magical powerhouse run I forgot about the damn chocolate box...

My best 'Damn, forgot about that!' moment was when I decided pretty late in the game that I wanted to try for Kevan's good ending, focused on getting my ciphering skills up to read Briony's gossip, then got to the party and realized I'd completely forgotten to raise Novan History enough to even take Briony home to start with.

Probably my most keyboard/face moment was when I was going to save the day with the power of music and didn't realize there was a public speaking check involved. And yeah, I'd last saved exactly one week too late to make it, and I didn't have the stats to get through any other way. RIP Elodie, again.

Oh my god, I did the exact same thing just a couple weeks ago (except I didn't even have a save far enough back to even get close to it). Because that was one of my many 'never became a lumen' runs I was close to still surviving by Joslyn taking the bullet for me, except Elodie didn't have to composure to kiss Togami's hand.

Oh Elodie. Elodie, sweetie. You couldn't have waited until your daddy's body was cool before turning his sacrifice into a complete waste?
