Excuse you, it's literally a birth story about how the most perfect woman of all time gave birth in appalling conditions and therefore saved the universe. If she'd said "fuck off" to Gabriel, "ain't no God impregnating this virgin body and subjecting me to social ridicule & denunciation", we would've all been screwed.
