Not actually 11/1 for me yet, but I know I'll have limited writing time tomorrow, so I'm working on my "to write" list right now while canon-reviewing for my Dentist's assignment, which is up first.

It's November 1st for me, and I am not getting any writing done today whatsoever ARGH.

Nov 1st for me (and only about 2 hours and 30 minutes more) and 522 words of a treat written. (Probably will be massively edited since I haven't really arrived at the prompt yet.)

First day and I actually wrote something! About 400 words (pledged 300/day) of a Yuleporn treat. I haven't been neglecting my main gift, though - I spent some time last night planning and plotting and doing some canon review.

Ohhh, you guys are awesome! Newcomer to doing it here is in. I usually do the lj mini-nano pledge but even that feels too ~public this year. I'm only pledging minutes tho because I've found word goals don't work for me as well. And super low, so I have no excuses. So, 20 mins every day in November, though obviously often I'll actually do far more. Gulp.

Uh. I'll call myself cc, I guess?

Maybe if I set a low goal I won't get intimidated by it and freak out and stop writing entirely because I've made the concept too stressful for myself and tied to failure!

Call it 200 words a day as my low bound.

I'd like to get going on my assignment and the treats I have planned, but I want to finish a couple of WIPs first. I know that if I don't get them done now, and instead put them aside till after Yuletide, then they're probably never going to be finished.

Anyone else in a similar situation? If so, maybe we could have a little group write thingy like last year to motivate us! (This here is Sparanero, BTW.)

Woo, I'm off! I reviewed the relevant portion of canon and sketched out the structure of my main fic (I would say plotted, but it looks like it's going to be ~5k of porn with very minimal plot, soo). And I managed to write 400 words.

Anyone else writing IF this yuletide?

Now that there's an unofficial opt-in and everything, I'm taking a crack at it for a treat.

I kind of want to try, but I also don't know how to come up with an idea that has multiple paths that IF would work for.

I've just finished the first draft of a 1.5k treat (go me!) and I'm sitting on extended story notes in the region of 3k for my gift fic because the projected length of the gift is kind of intimidating me a little.

Yes! So many drawerfic that are just drawerfic because I want to finish them before I start posting :| I want to revise/write more for those other than treating/working on my assignment too :)
