Didn't it close when it opened, so to speak? Pretty sure you can't post in either the main collection or madness anymore. We are into nyr now.

The main collection is still open for the super last minute pinch hits and so far hasn't been closed. I just checked a minute ago. It could close at anytime I'm sure but for now it's open.

I wish I'd know this before posting my 6k treat in madness, where it is being summarily ignored.

This is another reason I think having all treats go in the Madness collection is a better idea; I think Maddness stories would be more likely to get attention if everyone's treats were there.

Try posting it in the regular collection. If it's still open and it takes, delete it from Madness.

I don't think you have to delete it, can't you just add "yuletide2015" to the 'Post To Collection/Challenges' area of the story. That should put it in the main collection.

Yeah, looks like Madness gets about half as much attention as the main collection, if my rough numbers bear out - the stuff at the bottom of the top 10% of Madness would maybe make it into the top 20% of Yuletide based on hits. And it looks like you have just about have to be in a fandom that's got current fannish currency to get there. Though, fwiw, if your story is the one I think it is, you're easily in the top 15% based on hits. And you've got more comments on yours than my (also +5k) Madness fic has.
