I liked the movie fic a lot (don't know the other canons) but something about the authors' notes chafed my ass enough that I don't want to kudos or comment.

I'm desperate for wank, so I checked out those A/Ns and failed to find anything too obnoxious? Now I'm wondering if my own notes are also chafing someone's ass, lol.

Some asses are far too easily chapped.

It's a bit pretentious and formal but nothing worth the wank, unfortunately.

Song: This is great! It's basically origfic, but there's nothing wrong with that, and the connection to the song is still clear. (All we need now is a cover version of the song with a kickass female singer.)

Show: I haven't watched the canon, so take this with a grain of salt, but eh. The dialogue seems good, at least.

Book: I was saving this for later because long, but went ahead and read it now instead. It's REALLY good. Great pastiche, very in character, believable way for things to go after the book ends, everything. I'm not sure how it would read if you don't know the canon, though.

Movie: Loved all the careful detail in this, but it could have used some more conflict, especially in the first half or so.
