I mean, I kind of get your point. As someone who's requested other universe's counterparts of MCU pairings, I side-eye the hell out of some of the writers who are clearly there to write the movie versions. But that's because it is different characterization, because they're different characters in different worlds.

I'd love to get some decent EMH Clint/Bruce but would scroll past MCU Clint/Bruce without a second thought, because again, they're different characters in different worlds.
