Hey coalie, I'm in Nor Cal too and I feel this. My town is safe but just about everyone I know has evacuated, several have lost everything. Let me know if your family needs anything, okay? I can create a sock email and I'm happy to help in any way. Or we can just yell our anxiety into the void together here. ♥

Fluff isn't my strong suit at all, but when I need to give a story extra warm fuzzies I like to focus on the idea of home. Not necessarily homemaking or curtain fic, more like... Do the characters find a home in each other? Do they have that comfort they can fall into together? Them against the world type stuff? I dunno if that applies to your assignment at all, but that's the main way I fluff. :D
