The mods have said they track IPs. And it's not usually about f/f relationships.

Maybe that's the intention, but as the mods are human there's no way that they don't start remembering the IPs of regular commenters no matter how well behaved. That's how humans work, we recognize patterns.

So? IP addresses don't really tell them anything. And meme surveys of FFA show that there are several hundred "regular commenters".
