Why creepy? I dislike them both, but in general, don't see anything creepy about siblings commenting on gifts to each other. I show mine to my sister when it's a fandom she'll like.

Occasionally in fandoms that overlap isn't creepy. The THEY ALWAYS COME IN PAIRS thing grosses me out. I can't get my creepdar to quit pinging them, I think something weird is up with their relationship.

There's something about the way they comment that is weird to me, and it might just be Watson Eating Crackers, but it's like any giftfic is for both of them almost, that kind of thing.

YES this is what I mean! It almost makes the boundary between their identities seem... blurry. I thought one of them was the other's sock for a while.

They remind me of those codependent twins on this season's Project Runway, and I think greerwatson is being dragged down by constantly following the lead of her meaner sister.

Well Project Runway is a reality show, so also RL siblings, and also in need of therapy, but yes.

That makes a lot of sense, actually! I'm not familiar enough with their fandoms to have seen many of their comments, but that sort of weird blurriness of their identities sounds like it very much could come across as creepy as hell.

LOL maybe because I was an unwanted infant "given" to my big sister "as a baby doll" and their relationship squicks the fuck out of me. My past is creepy as fuck, they make me feel all kinds of uncomfortable. Just saying, what some people find adorable is not necessarily cute to others.

This whole thing makes me laugh because I too am a twin whose twin runs in a lot of the same fandoms and she's pretty much my go-to fandom friend, and even we aren't like that. I wouldn't say I find it creepy, but it is somewhat suspicious.
