I'm starting to turn against the idea of 'why I liked this fandom' bits. It can happen with prompts too, but there's certainly more room for making a potential author wonder how the writer had read/watched canon and yet come to WTF readings. There's one in mine that talks about the fantasy country as open to women in power, but the one female character who has power in this country has it through being the ruler's mistress, and while she doesn't appear much, she's not shown as exercising any power separate from that. Other than that, it's all men, save for a mention of a long-dead Queen in history.

+1 I've never found the "why I like this fandom" very helpful or interesting tbh. It's also where most of the TMI telling you about all their health problems and about how they and their husband are swingers sections are found.

I like those bits because I like seeing squee for my tiny-ass fandoms, and if they're thoughts I strongly agree or disagree with that can be useful in knowing whether they're a good fit for treating, sometimes more than actual prompts are. And the super personal details are a nice warning that they project their identity onto everything.
