Not quite an answer to your question, but if you click up to the parent collection and look at the fandoms page you can get total numbers for fics written across all Yuletides and Madnesses combined. So if I haven't missed any, the most-written Yuletide fandoms of all time are:

- Greek and Roman Mythology (189)
- Discworld - Terry Pratchett (160)
- Vorkosigan Saga - Lois McMaster Bujold (139)
- Lord Peter Wimsey - Dorothy L. Sayers (122)
- Tortall - Tamora Pierce (121)
- Young Wizards - Diane Duane (106)
- Arthurian Mythology (100)
- His Dark Materials - Philip Pullman (95)
- Rivers of London - Ben Aaronovitch (95)
- Parks and Recreation (94)
- The Chronicles of Chrestomanci - Diana Wynne Jones (93)
- Community (TV) (93)
- Dark Is Rising Sequence - Susan Cooper (91)
- Dragonriders of Pern - Anne McCaffrey (91)
- Brooklyn Nine-Nine (TV) (89)
- Anne of Green Gables - L. M. Montgomery (87)
- Temeraire - Naomi Novik (87)
- The Queen's Thief - Megan Whalen Turner (86)
- Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries (84)
- Elementary (TV) (81)
- The Sandman (Comics) (81)

NA

Thanks for these stats! I would never have predicted Greek and Roman Mythology at the top.

Oops, turns out I actually missed the top one because I didn't search for high enough numbers, so it's actually Greek and Roman mythology in second place and fairy tales on top. Amended list:

- Fairy Tales & Related Fandoms (250)
- Greek and Roman Mythology (189)
- Discworld - Terry Pratchett (160)
- Vorkosigan Saga - Lois McMaster Bujold (139)
- Lord Peter Wimsey - Dorothy L. Sayers (122)
- Tortall - Tamora Pierce (121)
- Young Wizards - Diane Duane (106)
- Arthurian Mythology (100)
- His Dark Materials - Philip Pullman (95)
- Rivers of London - Ben Aaronovitch (95)
- Parks and Recreation (94)
- The Chronicles of Chrestomanci - Diana Wynne Jones (93)
- Community (TV) (93)
- Dark Is Rising Sequence - Susan Cooper (91)
- Dragonriders of Pern - Anne McCaffrey (91)
- Brooklyn Nine-Nine (TV) (89)
- Anne of Green Gables - L. M. Montgomery (87)
- Temeraire - Naomi Novik (87)
- The Queen's Thief - Megan Whalen Turner (86)
- Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries (84)

Ah, that makes more sense! And it puts Greek and Roman Mythology into context.

There's something comforting about ancient folktales and myths still having that hold over communal storytelling.

At first I was surprised that this was mostly book fandoms, but then I realized it makes sense, because book fandoms grow slowly enough to be eligible for Yuletide for a long time. Anyway, this is a cool list!

Thank you! That's definitely an interesting list. I guess some fandoms burn brightly for a year or two, but others become mainstays that amass lots of stories over the years.
