I'm sad because a ship that I love got a request but it's for the opposite of how I see them, which is how it's usually requested (and why I haven't written it before).

I was right to drop one fandom, but there’s someone I might treat in a fandom I requested but didn’t offer! The other offers had me feeling like the odd one out on my pairing preferences.

OMFG the person requesting Hamatora with no characters nominated has no optional details and their linked letter doesn’t even have a section for the fandom. Could I write literally anything? Why did you do this?

I foresee wank in the future. One of the Young Justice requests has no letter and only DNWs in the signup, but the DNWs aren’t labeled as DNWs so it looks like a bulletpoint list of prompts. Behold, copied from the app:

This would be on the mods. They say you have to put DNWs in the sign up, not that you need to label your DNWs in your sign up.

Hopefully their writer has common sense and can see they’re DNWs and not likes.

Beyond the issue that they didn't actually specify these were DNWs, ugh, what a depressing assignment to get. You can make a list of 11 DNWs and clarify them but can't even give one thing you like?

I just realized they posted a letter before signups closed and it does have prompts but it isn’t linked in their optional details, so somebody who didn’t check the letters posts might not have seen it. I hope they don’t get a fic that tries to incorporate all those DNWs as prompts.

are there people out there who don't like treats? one of the prompts is for a fandom i desperately want to write, but they haven't posted their letter to the app or comm posts, so I'm second guessing myself

i think the people who don't want treats are long time participants don't have a letter and have blank sign ups. or who don't link their letter and they give as little prompts as possible while not being an asshole to their writer.

if it's a noob, someone with a lot of enthusiasm in their letter, or someone with prompts in general, i bet you're fine.

Those people could DNW treats. I honestly think if you want to write to prompt in the tiny fandom, other people in that tiny fandom will be delighted and probably the recip will be, too.
