Get the fic of my dreams. I can come up with a plot even with a blank signup but I signup for the gift.

Dream fic. Partially because I'm selfish, partially because I can just treat a really good letter.

fic of my dreams - I'll treat or NYR the dream letter.

Match to my dream letter, probs. There's good fic out there, even if it's not ~for me, I get to read it.

Fic of my dreams. Having a dream letter is awesome for Yuletide, but if I get the fic of my dreams? That'd be awesome for life.

Dream letter. I have a major guilt complex so I'd rather give someone an amazing fic than get a good one myself.

Dream letter. I've had some real nightmare assignments and it's far worse than spending a few minutes reading something not-so-great.

Most years - dream letter

This year - I'm doing Nano, so an assignment that will be 2k and done is fine with me. Meanwhile, I'm REALLY enthusiastic about my requests this year...

Fic of my dreams. I find it really easy to come up with prompts, so all I really want from a letter is their DNWs and some direction to guide me in. But I'll happily write a blank sign up, something that's just about how much they love the fandom, or a very, very long letter.

Dream letter every time. Happened once and I wrote the best I ever had.

Long comment vs short comment?

Long comment. As long as possible.

Unless you hate my fic. In that case, as short as possible, no need to dwell on how much you think everything sucks.

Short comment. I've had so many bad experiences with long comments not actually being good/about the fic that I've been conditioned to assume it's a long negative comment. I guess people just need negative comments/comments unrelated to the fic to be long so they can actually explain what's wrong? lol

The mods enact a new rule, but only one.

You have to comment (it's OK to say "I didn't like this" and have it not be wanky) or you're banned vs. You have to write something in your optional details (it's OK to say "I don't have any optional details") or you're banned.

Shit author (writes you a fic that just stops short of what would get you an emergency PH, opposite of how you see the characters, plot you don’t care about, barely uses your characters) who everyone either ignores fucked you or takes their side if there is wank over their fic OR shit recip (type of sign up you hate, sees the fandom opposite to you, leaves you no comments or a mean comment even if you tried your best to write them something good) who everyone either ignores is an awful recip or takes their side if there is wank over your fic
