So you can get yourself assigned to the recip you want. It doesn't make *sense* per se but it's hilarious to think about an over-ambitious coalie doing that.

As someone who was once unmatchable, that's not how this works.

No I immediately defaulted because what I had to write was any two guys and I'm a femslash or reluctant gen writer.

It sucked so much and almost soured me on Yuletide forever.

:( I never want to be unmatchable now.

So how does it work, out of curiosity? Must you add a certain amount of fandoms, or would it be enough to just add one (I'm guessing no, judging by your comment)?

You have to offer any on a fandom. You are then matched to that fandom.

So if you aren't an any kind of writer, you're fucked.

What year were you unmatchable? Wonder if it's changed.

Like 2 or 3 years ago? It hasn't changed because that's way too much effort to game it, because it could potentially render someone else unmatchable.

You have to offer any on a fandom. You are then matched to that fandom, but you can't game it to a specific letter on that fandom. Just any letter within that fandom is potentially now your recip.

So if you aren't an any kind of writer, you're fucked.
