I'm expecting the author to be a sock or lol_meme's account. This fill is so over the top that it's fun for people to laugh at and think it's making fun of all the caricatures therein and then you get the added 'bonus' of laughing at AS who loves it all unironically and ate it up with a spoon. If it's written by either then I think the point is for everyone else to giggle while AS is standing on the other side of the line shouting "preach!!" and then we laugh at them too.

I don't know - I'd say writing a story that can be appreciated on two different levels in that way is a sign of fantastic writing. Laughing at someone enjoying their gift in an un-ironic way, when they got exactly what they asked for, seems like a dick move to me.

But I suppose that's what coal is for: letting our inner assholes out to play in an environment where no one needs to see it unless they opted-in to see the bitter, bitchy, dark side of human nature.

It's a very clunky fic, even leaving aside the Athena bits. Like, the scenes sound like they were written independently and sort of half-stitched together later; the continuity's terrible. And they just keep busting out weird lines, like the digeridoo ones.

I thought the didgeridoo line was intentional humor. Loved the whole gonzo thing.

Aha, it was written by fresne! That makes sense - she's always playing games with gender and sexuality in her omegaverse fics.
