Nothing super dramatic or A-list, just a letter that people wanked about before and after I defaulted, on the grounds of being a great example of how not to write a letter. I never would have pleased the recip and would have been unhappy trying, so I let them take their chances in the salt sea of pinch hits.

But now I'm getting something for nothing and am feeling guilty about it. Penance must be done in form of treating.
