Who else is panicking about getting fic up right now?

As fics go into the collection, which ones are you excited about?

I have what is VERY clearly a WIP uploaded. It's over 2k, but needs formatting and has about 4k more that should be coming. I'm confident in my ability to finish before deadline, probably this weekend, but I am psyching myself out thinking that the mods will decide to check it and default me when they realize how much tweaking it needs.

What's a nice thing that's happened to you this Yuletide season?

Shaking tells me that the gift I received is definitely for the fandom and pairing I fell out of love with.

Time to practice writing nice comments, I guess.

Dumb question for the meme: I got a late pinch hit this year, and I was told by the mods that it was due on the 20th, but my assignment email from AO3 says it's due on the 18th. Which is correct? Will I be defaulted if I don't get it posted tonight, even with the later deadline? I don't want to screw this up!

I really, really tried, but I just wasn't feeling her prompts.

The fandom I just tagged my fic with isn't on A03 and isn't showing up in the fandoms list on this page. Do I need to tell someone? Or does it take a while to show up.

All assignments have to be in by deadline, I know. But what about treats? The admin post says the collection will be closed on the 25th. Does that mean if we write treats from now till then that we can still add them to the collection?

I've just posted my assignment fic and let me tell you, friends and country-coalies, I am feeling a rush of euphoria. I like it so much. I am so proud of it. I'm 100% sure tomorrow I will find all the things that are wrong with it and then I can't edit and then everything will be terrible lol. But right now I am just all like AHHHHHHHHH!!!

Okay. Attempt NUMBER THREE at writing my assignment. I've now abandoned one draft for having to jam in too much exposition to make that prompt work, and another for just plain sucking. Third time's a charm, right? Right?

And not one of them is mine. :(

This happens every year. I keep telling myself it means epic written to the deadline longfic, but I'm pretty sure it actually means I'm matched to someone who just started writing because they hate their prompts. Or a defaulter who is still holding out hope for a gift.
