WTF, who goes ODAO hoping their recipe doesn't like their gift all that much?!

We're talking about comment preference here. For me, this has zero to do with my choice whether or not to treat someone. If I like a prompt, I'm on it like white on rice, regardless if recip leaves squeeful one paragraph comments, two page comments or is in fact a known non-commenter. It's not like my end goal of writing is getting the perfect comment FFS.

Everyone who decides to ODAO or crib someone else's prompts when they get a recip who doesn't comment? AKA what a ton of nonnies and coalies say they plan to do in almost every exchange when bad assignments happen?

I'm kinda happy that I don't understand approaches to a gift exchange where you deliberately don't give someone what they want.
