Moving and setting up utilities,
Finding a new doctor (or a doctor if their unconventional childhood didn't include regular doctor's visits)
Practically anything involving reading the social norms of a group and integrating within it: workplace gossip, joining a new club, talking at a meeting, socializing with an unfamiliar group.
Depending on how unconventional the unconventional childhood: getting personal documentation/ids or knowing how to request new copies.
Job expectations
Clothing and dressing appropriately for the occasion: not going too casual or too formal for a situation where the dress code isn't explicitly laid out.
