What? That's ridiculous. Or lemme guess, this is just because it's an anime? If it were an American TV series that went on and on and on, you probably wouldn't feel that way, I bet.

No, one episode had aired, nominations closed and then the fandom exploded. There should be some rule so that wouldn't happen.

Dumb. What's the cutoff line? How much of an ongoing canon has to already be out before it's deemed eligible? Suck it up, it won't be around next year anyway.

Aside from being ridiculous, that also makes no logical sense. So people would spend a nomination slot on a fandom, maybe actually request it when sign-ups open, and THEN bam, the fandom becomes popular so it's suddenly removed? Riiight...
