If you want credit for the brilliance and originality of your ideas, write the fic yourself (and hope that another writer doesn't come up with the same brilliant, "original" idea and finish their fic first).

Also, I hate to break it to AYRT, but the overwhelming majority of readers aren't going to notice or care where the idea came from. They're going to care about how well the author used the idea in their fic.
