It did indeed happen, sorry. There were a number of disgusting, tone deaf Tumblr posts made right in the wake of the shooting. One post I remember not because it was the most offensive but because it made the incredibly illogical leap of logic that since Pulse was a gay club->asexuals are LGBT->there were asexuals at Pulse->it was also a hate crime against asexuals.
